Pride Vermont 1st Annual Stonewall Vigil
This was held last night at the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington, Vermont.
They were personal reflections by Sam Sanders and Paij Wadley-Bailey and the Legacy of Stonewall by Vermont Queer Archivist Meg Tamulonis. Amber LeMay read to us what took place On That Night.
Craig Hilliard (Cousin Craig) was the pianist for the evening and played for our friend Kathy Richards who sang “Over the Rainbow”
Then everyone followed the speakers outside to gather in front of the Church far a candle light Vigil.
The House of LeMay held a reception following the service at the Frank Lloyd Wright room at Three Needs from 9pm – 11pm. Thank You Pride Vermont and Three Needs! I forgot to mention the Ushers for the service of course were Drag Queens. They were Margaurite LeMay and Lucy Belle LeMay along with Spice Celestial, Porsche Pink, and Kitty Von Tease.
